Learn Cyber Security at West Lothian College
West Lothian College have opened applications for their brand new HNC Cyber Security course starting in August 2019.
This course will look at all aspects of cyber security from the basic online security to the complex cryptography and artificial intelligence. The course is designed to kick start an education into fighting cyber security threats with progression options into HND Cyber Security and Napier University for a degree in Cyber Security.
The course covers areas such as: Ethical hacking, Scripting using Python, Digital Forensics, Data security, Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence.
All training will take place in our new purpose built Cyber Security Suite.
Ross Tunnicliffe from West Lothian College said: “With cybercrime on the rise there are more and more instances of malware attacks and data breaches in the public eye. Therefore it is vital that we have skilled people in society who are equipped with the knowledge to deal with such instances and to positively shape the digital landscape for the future”.
