How to find us
We are based in the centre of Livingston in the heart of Scotland's central belt between Glasgow and Edinburgh, making the college easily accessible by car, bus, cycling and/ or walking- the perfect location for study, holding meetings or hosting events.
How to get to West Lothian College
By car
From the North, East and West-
Enter Livingston off Junction 3 of the M8 motorway. Follow the A899 for Livingston Centre (approximately two miles). Exit at Livingston Centre, and the college is signposted from the first roundabout.
From the South (either East or West on the A71)-
Exit at the roundabout for Livingston onto the A899 for Livingston Centre. Exit at the first slip road, signposted as Town Centre, and at the first roundabout, exit left, and follow the signs for the college.
Parking is limited to 300 spaces for students, staff and visitors on campus, and we encourage students to look at alternative transport to college where possible.
Please be aware that barriers are in operation at the entrance to the college- these will open automatically when you approach them, unless the car park is full.
If the car park is full, the counter beside the barriers will note that there is zero spaces remaining- if this is the case, please do not wait at the barriers- instead find an alternative, safe and legal place to park.
Do not park on the yellow lines, on the grass or at the bus stop outside the college - this will result in a parking ticket.
The college's car parking policy can be viewed in full here.
