Along with the resources and equipment required to prepare you for industry and further study, we have our award winning ‘Terrace Restaurant’, brand new barbering salon ‘The Rookie Barber’, the ‘Platinum Salon’ for hair & beauty and modern studio spaces for art and creative students.
We continue to invest in our facilities to offer industry standard learning spaces that facilitate high quality practical activity for all subject areas. The college campus has undergone a recent refurbishment, which has focussed on offering our students a flexible study space to collaborate and work in small groups, and access support from our brand new Learning Centre.
We have a number of partners across West Lothian and beyond who provide input and progression opportunities, advise on units, subjects, skills and qualities that should be part of each programme of study. This ensures our learners have the best opportunity to enter their destination of choice.
We pride ourselves in the important part our partners play in supporting the design of our curriculum and have a number of Employer Advisory Groups supporting our planning year on year.
Our staff are all professionally qualified and continue to engage with professional development activity to be able to deliver first class learning and teaching opportunities. All staff are in regular contact with employers, sector partners and community organisations, working in partnership to make practical college courses and workplace learning an integrated experience.
