Web development is an ever growing industry with a very wide spec: from developing a simple single static page of plain text to complex web-based internet applications, electronic businesses, and social network services.

With competition for places on university courses fierce, West Lothian College offers students the chance to progress directly into second year of the BSc (Honours) Web Design and Development course at Edinburgh's Napier University upon successful completion of the HNC.
