West Lothian College is delighted to be hosting a free enterprise roadshow in association with Bridge 2 Business on Thursday November 10th.

Event Details

The event is sponsored by Business Gateway and offers students the opportunity to find out how to go into business through inspiring enterprise workshops, support organisations and networking opportunities.

Attendees will have the chance to take part in workshops and Q & A panels, as well as hearing from guest speakers and there will also be an Enterprise Marketplace with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and gain important industry knowledge.

There will also be an opportunity to hear from a panel of speakers that comprises of:

Lauren Leisk – Fodalicious
After suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) for many years, Lauren started Fodilicious to bring the UK's first Low FODMAP, gut friendly food and drinks to market helping those with IBS and gut health to find products for their diet, but also delicious and healthy for anyone to enjoy - fulfilling a huge gap in the UK free from food industry.

Craig Reid – Graphic Designer

After working with Bridge 2 Business when he was a student, Craig decided to kickstart his own business as a freelance graphic designer. Craig has experience in logo design, brand identity, and motion graphics. He is big into typography and photography and was the brains behind the Bridge 2 Business rebrand.

Marie Claire Donnelly – Dream Fitness

As a fully accredited Coach with over 20 years’ experience in HR, Fitness and Personal Development, Marie Claire successfully enables clients to make positive changes to their personal and professional lives. She is a published author, a fitness and yoga instructor, a life coach and is the creator of Dream Magic Superfood Powders.

Claudia NasseriBusiness Lecturer

Claudia works as a Business lecturer at the college but also owns three local businesses: The Tapshop, La Vita Viva and Copper & Penny. Experienced in hospitality, HRM and the service industry with a passion for entrepreneurship and helping people start their own businesses.
