Are you a care‑experienced student at college or university- or planning to start this year? The Hub for Success is inviting all care‑experienced students- whether currently at college or university, or planning to start this year, to join their upcoming informal meet‑up events.
Event Details
These gatherings are designed to be relaxed and welcoming, giving students the chance to connect with one another and meet partner staff in a friendly, supportive environment. There is no expectation for anyone to share personal stories or discuss their care experience. Attendees are encouraged simply to come along, enjoy some food, meet new people and have a chat.
- Students who are caring for a child or someone else are welcome to bring them along
- Transport support is available for anyone who needs it
- For those who feel nervous about attending alone, Hub for Success staff are happy to meet outside and walk in together
The Hub for Success looks forward to welcoming care‑experienced students at their next event, on Friday, January 30, 2026, 2pm until 5pm.
