West Lothian College represents the UK in Erasmus project
West Lothian College is representing Scotland and the United Kingdom in an Erasmus project which has been set up to find and share the best quality practice in Europe when teaching, guiding and assessing vocational qualifications
A group of representatives from Holland, Germany, Austria, Finland and Portugal as well as Scotland met in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, where they were hosted for a snowy January week by staff from the cutting-edge vocational training school Aventus. The group examined and analysed best practice presented by both the Aventus school and the German school BbS Syke, from Bremen, and the documents they produced will form part of a best practice ‘toolkit’ which will eventually be available across Europe.
West Lothian College will host the next project week 13 - 17 May 2019 and eighteen delegates from all the partner countries will meet, explore our campus, analyse our best practice presentation and hopefully enjoy a taste of excellent Scottish food and culture while they are here. We look forward to welcoming them.
