With the next academic year fast approaching, you may be looking at your options and what is available to you. West Lothian College provides a range of direct routes to university that allow you to study locally at our Livingston campus.
Attending college before starting university helps build your confidence and can save you money as you study closer to home. The college has agreements with a number of universities including Edinburgh Napier University, Heriot Watt University, Queen Margaret University and the Open University. Many of our students with qualifications like HNC Engineering Systems, HND Software Development, HNC Events, and HNC Childhood Practice move straight into second or third year of degree courses at these universities.
And with over 20 courses providing direct entry into 2nd or 3rd year of a university course, now is time to consider West Lothian College.
The college also offers some degree level options. For example, the third year of Edinburgh Napier University’s BA Business Management is taught at West Lothian College. Students can gain direct entry into year 3 of this degree by completing the HND Business course.
