The prospectus covers a wide variety of courses including Health and Social Care, Engineering, Computing, Early Years and Childcare, Business, Sport and Fitness, Hairdressing, Creative Industries, Motor Vehicle and Professional Cookery.

Over 180 courses have pathways and progression routes to Universities and many of our HNC and HND courses offer direct entry to 2nd or 3rd years of a university degree.

And it's not just full and part-time courses that are available – foundation and modern apprenticeships, pre-apprenticeships and courses for school pupils are also offered, making the college the ideal place for learning no matter what level you are at or stage in your life.

We have developed new and innovative short courses to support people whose jobs have been impacted by the pandemic and these sit alongside the courses we offer to over 600 companies to help up-skill their workforce.

Simon Earp, Vice Principal for Performance and Improvement said:

"It is always an exciting day when we launch the prospectus. We have worked extensively with employers, community groups and agencies to ensure our courses will provide students with the skills which are in high demand not just now but well into the future.

The courses we offer and how we deliver them is key to how we how we realise our college goals of inspiring and enabling success for all, supporting our economy and strengthening our communities.  This new approach to how we are presenting the prospectus will not only will hopefully inspire people to take the next step in their lives but will enable the college to deliver on our net zero sustainability plan and help reduce the impact of climate change."
