Welcome New and Returning Students!

Whether you are a new or returning student, West Lothian College would like to warmly welcome you onto campus for what promises to be another exciting year.
We hope you enjoyed your induction. It really was great to see students on campus again and we hope that you are now ready to start your course with confidence! Check out your 2022/23 timetable here
Remember lots of support is available to you.
We know it's not always easy being a student and we want you to know that we are here for you.
We have 3 professional Counsellors who work at the college who are here to support students, plus our Student Support Team who are on hand to help you with any issues you might have.
We also work closely with many organisations who are always on hand to help if you are struggling.
Neils Hugs work closely with the college and are available for one-to-one chats offering support and can signpost you to relevant services, if required.
You can hear from Donna Paterson-Harvie, founder of Neils Hugs in this video: https://youtu.be/5XPuusoFeX0
While we offer lots of support for students, parents should be aware that unlike school, where students are over 16, we are not allowed to discuss individual progress with parents without the student’s permission.

All that remains to be said is, we are very glad to be welcoming you back and we wish you every success on your college journey. Remember we are with you every step of the way!
