Positive outcomes for West Lothian College students

A report from the Scottish Funding Council has shown that West Lothian College has one of the highest rates in the country of students moving onto positive destinations.

College Leaver Destinations 2016-17 Report highlights that the college’s students have the highest rate of positive destinations (97.3%) of all other college regions outside of Glasgow, and the lowest rate of negative destinations (1.8%) of all college regions.

West Lothian College Principal, Jackie Galbraith said: “We welcome the findings of the report from the Scottish Funding Council. At West Lothian College our purpose is to equip students with the skills and knowledge that will help them be successful in whatever they choose to do when they leave, whether that’s continuing their education at university or getting a job.

“The report shows that we are delivering on this, and we will continue to work hard to improve the learning experience of our students.”
