Getting Support

Even though we are closed, help and support is still available.  If you need to talk to someone, need support or if you feel that things are getting too much, this link is to a list of support services. 

In an emergency, please call 999 immediately, or go to A&E (Accident and Emergency) at St. Johns or your local hospital.

If you are in crisis and need to speak to someone: 

• Call NHS 111 (for when you need help but are not in immediate danger)
• Contact your GP (doctor) and ask for an emergency appointment
• Call the Samaritans free on 116 123, visit samaritans.org or email jo@samaritans.org 
• Use the ‘Shout’ crisis text line – text SHOUT to 85258, this is free from most mobile networks.

If you are suddenly homeless, you can call the Out of Hours Crisis Service (01506 282000) between 5pm and 8.30am.
