Board of Governors Vacancy
Do you have enthusiasm and an enquiring mind?
Do you want to extend your network and enhance your leadership skills?
Do you want to help people become the best that they can be?
If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of these questions then West Lothian College Board of Governors would love to hear from you.
We are currently recruiting new voluntary Board Members and have an immediate vacancy to complement the skills and experience of our current Board. Our Board has people with experience of working at universities, business, law, human resources and finance, as well as elected student and staff representatives. The successful candidate would be part of a team of eighteen working together to ensure that West Lothian College delivers the best learning experience for the growing number of young people and adult learners in the region.
We want to attract candidates from the many diverse communities across West Lothian, as well as people with specific skills in finance and accounting.
You may never have considered a board position before, but your experience may be invaluable. Public sector boards are keen to increase the diversity of their non-executive directors and this may be a great opportunity for you.
More details on the role are available on the West Lothian College Website here or in the information pack.
