Board Member

West Lothian College is looking to appoint two new members to its Board of Governors.

We are currently recruiting for two new non-executive Board Members to take up appointment from September 2025.

Vacancy 1: Non-executive Member: Learning and Teaching Committee vacancy

Vacancy 2: Non-executive Member: Finance and General Purposes Committee vacancy

Our Board includes members with a range of skills and expertise in the public, private and voluntary sectors as well as elected student, staff and trade union representatives. The roles are voluntary and are not remunerated however travel expenses will be reimbursed. Previous experience as a Board Member is not essential as you will be provided with induction and training.

The successful candidate will be part of a team of 20 members, working together with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure that West Lothian College delivers the best learning experience for the growing number of young people and adult learners in the region.

The closing date for applications isĀ Sunday 9 March 2025 at midnight and interviews will be held on Tuesday 18 March 2025.
