Are you curious about a career in hairdressing? Join us at our college to explore if this is the right path for you! In our program, you'll get hands-on experience in our Platinum salon, learning essential skills like braiding, hair-ups, shampooing, and styling.
Throughout the course, you'll participate in practical sessions where you'll deliver basic hairdressing services. You'll practice on mannequins and collaborate with your peers to create stunning styles.
In addition to technical skills, you'll develop employability skills and learn about health and safety in the salon. You'll also have the exciting opportunity to compete in our in-house competitions and events to showcase your talents.

By completing this course you will gain a good understanding of the hairdressing profession and practical experience of working and assisting in our Platinum Salon.
Students who have completed this course have successfully moved on to the higher levels, stating that this course gave them the confidence to progress and a great introduction to a career in hairdressing.
A keen interest in hairdressing. You must be minimum 14 years old by August 31, 2026.
This qualification will teach you employability skills which will allow you to enter the industry as a junior or continue your studies to the next level (Level 4/5 Hairdressing) to advance your hairdressing skills.
