SCHOOLS CREATIVE INDUSTRIES AN INTRODUCTION (FRIDAY)

This course is aimed at school pupils who are interested in the Creative Industries, specifically photography, graphics, video, animation and television, giving you the chance to find out more about these areas and carry out practical projects.

Many students have progressed to further study within the college's Creative Courses or other education centres.  

The creative team have industrial experience of all the areas taught on the programme and also undertake their own creative projects. They are able to offer informal advice to pupils on their future academic and career paths.

    What the course includes

    This is mainly a practical course which will give you the opportunity to explore the creative industries using our up-to-date digital resources. 

    You’ll learn about what is involved in different areas of the creative industries and the opportunities for work. You’ll meet our experienced teaching team and get the chance to consider further study in creative areas, such as art, video, photography or graphics. 

    The course also gives you the opportunity to experience the college environment, work with state-of-the-art equipment and produce practical work of your own design.

The course is for anyone who is interested in the creative industries. You don’t need previous experience or knowledge.

    The course will help you progress on to further study, including our NQ in Creative Industries at level 5.
