ESOL courses provide a platform to enhance your understanding of spoken and written English. Completing this course will support your progression to further full time or part time study at college or university.
If you achieve ESOL National 5 you will be able to access full time courses across the college.
ESOL LEVEL 3 - Expected to be working at level 2 or above (we will assess this). If you are at beginner level there are other options we can offer you, for example you can access free study with West Lothian Council
ESOL LEVEL 4 - Expected to be working at level 3 or above (we will assess this). Progressing students should have achieved ESOL 3. If you are at beginner level there are other options we can offer you, for example you can access free study with West Lothian Council .
ESOL LEVEL 5 - Expected to be working at level 4 or above (we will assess this). Progressing students should have achieved ESOL 4
We will invite you to college to assess your level of English language, this takes around two hours.
