Tamara Macdonald NC Level 6 Social Care
NC Level 6 Social Care is aimed at those who are interested in developing the knowledge and skills needed to work in various health and social care settings.
Tamara Macdonald is on the course and was keen to share her college highlights:
“The highlight for me so far has to be passing level 4 and 5 health and social care exams. I was so happy to pass! I am really enjoying level 6 as well.”
As is the case sometimes the learning doesn’t stop at the end of class, many people who come to West Lothian College are on a journey of self-discovery. Tamara explains:
“One of the main things I have learned is that we should treat everyone equally. Everyone in my class is on their journey and we may all have a different story as to why we applied for the course but we are all striving for the same goal so we all try to help each other along. I’ve found that the tutors are more than willing to help but you need to be prepared to put the work in. If you go in with a positive attitude and an open mind you are never too old to keep learning.”
