Roland Bosso, NQ Computing: Digital Media

Roland Bosso is studying NQ Digital Media Computing at West Lothian College and is loving life in Scotland after moving here from Budapest.

“My original plan was to come and improve my English and see how things went from there. I decided to continue my education and applied to study the course I am on now.“

After a spell working in a fragrance shop back home, Roland had considered training to be a customs officer but decided to pursue a career in a subject he was more passionate about in computing.

“I found that I adapted well to life at West Lothian College, everyone is friendly and the lessons are really interesting. I have been working very hard and thankfully I have received an unconditional offer for the HNC Computing course which I am delighted about as I love studying here.”

As Roland stated he has settled in well to life in Scotland.

I love Scotland and the culture, I feel very at home here."

Looking to the future Roland is considering taking his education even further after the HNC course.

“I hope to study the HND course or perhaps software engineering at the University of Edinburgh but I definitely want to continue to carve a career in computing with programming as a future career option.”
