Awi is also a part of the Student Association representing his fellow students as Class Ambassador.

Awi originally chose West Lothian College for convenience but was pleasantly surprised by what the college had to offer:

“I first chose West Lothian College because it was closest to where I live but once I started the course, I realised that I had definitely made the right choice. The facilities are excellent, the staff are all great and my favourite thing about my course has to be my classmates. I have met so many great people at the college.”

Awi, who hopes to progress onto Level 6 next year before ultimately earning a degree in business management, had the following advice for current and potential students at West Lothian College:

“Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it. Everyone wants you to succeed and they will do all they can to help you accomplish your goals.”
