West Lothian College is set to host the return of the 5K Road Race after a brief hiatus.
Starting and finishing on the college grounds, this exciting race will lead participants through the heart of Livingston, offering the perfect mix of competition and fun.
Organised by the college’s HNC Sports Coaching students, the event- held on Wednesday 28, May, is open to all members of the wider community, as well as all staff and students.
Jessica Westcough, Active Campus Coordinator at the college, said: “Our HNC Sports Coaching students are excited to bring it back, not just for everyone at the college, but for the entire community. It was a well-attended and much-loved event before COVID, and we’re eager to reignite that same excitement. We encourage everyone to get involved.”

Who Can Join? Participants must be 16+
Route Description – 5K Run (5000 Metres)
This five-kilometre course has been accurately measured and will be fully marshalled throughout. The route comprises a variety of terrains, including tarmac paths, trail sections, and brief road segments. Participants are reminded that this route incorporates shared public pathways—please be courteous and give way to other users at all times.
Caution is also advised on uneven surfaces, particularly on trail sections and gradients.
