Terrace Restaurant wins at Hospitality Awards

The Terrace Restaurant was a winner at the recent Scottish Hospitality Awards.

West Lothian College Hospitality staff and students joined over 300 guests at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow, on Tuesday 21st May in a memorable celebration of the country’s hospitality industry. The Terrace Restaurant which gives students experience of working in a busy fully functioning restaurant won Restaurant of the Year for the South East.

The Terrace Restaurant is situated within West Lothian College's Livingston campus and is open to the public for lunches and dinners during term time. The restaurant is primarily a training restaurant for our Hospitality students, providing a valuable experience of a real restaurant situation where they produce dishes of the highest standard.

The students are supervised by expert chefs in the planning, cooking and serving of dishes and the restaurant operates in a totally professional manner.

The Scottish Hospitality Awards acknowledge the achievements of local professionals and establishments, from restaurants, bars and hotels to festivals and venues that stand out from the crowd due to their dedication to the customer satisfaction.

The winners, who are chosen by members of the general public, are a true reflection of the commitment, quality and impeccable customer service that flow in the Scottish hospitality industry.
