START DATE FOR COLLEGE COURSES 2020-21
Lecturers and some support staff have now returned to our campus.
Significant measures have been taken to manage a safe return to our campus and ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all staff, students and visitors. This includes modifications to take into account the required approaches for social distancing, hand sanitizing and appropriate signage.
Full-time and evening courses
Full-time and evening courses will start in the week beginning 21 September, with inductions for full-time students taking place in the week beginning 14 September.
Student timetables can be found here: 2020/21 timetables
Induction timetables and details will be posted from the end of August on this page and sent to your email address on file.
Courses for senior phase school pupils are currently underway.
Blended learning approach
For the foreseeable future, all students will be taught using a blended learning approach, with some learning activities taking place face-to-face on campus and the majority of classes held remotely using online technologies. Our student support services will also be delivered predominately through online technologies, supplemented by on campus provision where necessary.
Based on our experiences of the delivering teaching, support and key services remotely over the last few months, we’re confident in the quality of experience that all students will receive whilst studying with us.
Where remote teaching isn’t possible (for example in practical subject areas) then learning on campus will take place, whilst adhering to social distancing arrangements.
