National recognition for Terrace Restaurant

The Terrace Restaurant at West Lothian College has had double recognition from review site Trip Advisor, following five years of excellence.

The restaurant has been awarded a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for 2018 for the consistent achievement of high ratings from customers.

As the College restaurant has received this award five years in a row, they have been additionally recognised by receiving Trip Advisor's Hall of Fame Certificate, which highlights five consecutive years of consistency in achieving high ratings from travellers. This continues the trend of the Terrace Restaurant being West Lothian's top rated restaurant.

This isn't the first time the restaurant has been awarded for excellence, having previously won both the Restaurant of the Year in Scotland and Best Restaurant in the South East region of Scotland in 2015 and 2017.

West Lothian College Principal Jackie Galbraith said: "I was delighted to find out that our Terrace training restaurant received the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence Award 2018 for the consistent achievement of high ratings from customers. Huge congratulations to all the staff and students who work in the restaurant. They should be very proud of the high quality of food preparation and service which has led to such outstanding customer satisfaction."

The Terrace Restaurant is situated within West Lothian College's Livingston campus and is open to the public for lunches and dinners during term time.
