West Lothian College is working with ContactSCOTLAND-BSL to interact better with deaf British Sign Language users.
ContactSCOTLAND-BSL is a Scottish Government service that connects deaf BSL users throughout Scotland through an online BSL interpreting video relay service (VRS) with all of Scotland’s public authorities and voluntary organisations (Third Sector) and now beyond.
Through the service deaf BSL users conduct a video call with an interpreter who relays the information to a member of staff at the college, allowing effective communication.
