On this course you will get to pend time working with experts in the field of programming, applications design and web development to a level that will give you the edge when looking for work.

    What the course includes

    You will learn about different Programming languages and how to make them work for you and your employer. Become someone who understands Python, C#, Visual Studi Adobe Creative Suite and can design and publish Applications and Websites.

Why choose this course

This course is designed to get you from beginner to confident developer in 6 months and give you the edge when looking for employment.

An attendance allowance of at least £100 per week is payable to all Pathway Apprentices. It is possible to combine this course with a Kickstart Placement and those also taking part in the UK Government Kickstart Scheme will instead receive a higher rate of the National Minimum Wage for the work based element of the programme.

Entry requirements

National 5 Maths and English and a Science preferred.

Alternative qualifications and experience will be considered.

If English is not your first language, ESOL Level 5 is an entry requirement for this course.

Interview arrangements

We will invite you for an informal interview, this will take place online using Microsoft Teams.

At the interview, we will invite you to speak for between one and two minutes on why you wish to join the course and what your future plans are in relation to working in the digital field. We will then ask you a few questions.

We will also ask you to complete a short piece of work checking your skills in communication, numeracy and IT.
