Entry requirements

  • National 5 at minimum grade C (or equivalent) in English, Mathematics and a Technical subject. 
  • Successful completion of Performing Engineering Operations Qualification and satisfactory completion of an aptitude test. 

Mature applicants without the necessary minimum qualifications will be considered on an individual basis 

  • Where will it lead

    Education:The course can take you onto a Level 6 course or into our HNC in Engineering or HNC Fabrication and Welding.  

    Employment: Engineering apprenticeship or employment in the manufacturing or service sector.  

Interview arrangements

  • Group interview 
  • Short Skills Test which will cover basic literacy and numeracy as well as practical skills
