The NQ Manufacturing Engineering course is your chance to dive into the world of modern engineering and manufacturing.

You’ll get hands-on experience and learn the skills needed to work with everything from Mechanical Engineering to Electrical and Manufacturing processes.

Entry requirements

  • National 5 at minimum grade C (or equivalent) in English, Mathematics and a Technical subject. 
  • Successful completion of Performing Engineering Operations Qualification and satisfactory completion of an aptitude test. 

Mature applicants without the necessary minimum qualifications will be considered on an individual basis.

  • Where will it lead

    Education: The course can take you onto our HNC in Engineering.

    Employment: Engineering apprenticeship or employment in the manufacturing or service sector.  

Interview arrangements

  • Group interview 
  • Short Skills Test which will cover basic literacy and numeracy as well as practical skills

If you are a progressing student successful completion of course will be required.
