NQ BUSINESS MANAGEMENT LEVEL 6

The business course helps you develop the necessary knowledge and skills required for working in the modern business world and for progression onto HNC  and Degree level study. 

This course also gives an insight into running your own business and is suitable whether you are looking to come to college from school, the workplace or to make a positive change: this course can start your journey!

Experienced lecturers with a wide range of industry experience will support and guide you throughout the course.

  • What the course includes

    This course gives you the chance to get real hands-on business experience and knowledge through a range of different units. These include developing your own business idea, learning how to run a business, business finance, marketing, economics, communication, ICT, event management and human resource management.

You would have the opportunity to progress through these levels and take advantage of our unique degree offering with Edinburgh Napier University Business School which means you can progress from  Level 6  to the BA Degree in Business Management. This is run on-campus in partnership with Edinburgh Napier University.

  • National 5 Business Management
  • National 5 in English or Communication or
  • Commitment to learning

We encourage students with relevant work experience to apply.

If English is not your first language, ESOL Level 5 is an entry requirement for this course.

Interviews will consist of an on-campus interview and written task during interview.
