This course is suited to those working in a commercial kitchen or those with previous experience and is an excellent way to gain SQA culinary credits quickly. Limited places are available on this course.

  • What the course includes

    This course will allow students to complete approximately 5 units in year 1 and will continue into year 2 to complete this full award. The units include cookery processes, meal production design and food hygiene.

Entry requirements

  • Previous industry experience is essential
  • An apron, oven gloves and tea towel to be provided by student. Any specialist ingredients to be provided by student as advised by lecturer each week.

If English is not your first language, ESOL Level 5 is an entry requirement for this course.
