This course will help develop important mathematical techniques which are critical to successful progression beyond National 5 in Mathematics and many other curriculum areas. The skills, knowledge and understanding in the course also support learning in technology, health and wellbeing, science, and social studies.
This course aims to challenge and motivate students by enabling them to select and apply mathematical techniques in a variety of situations. This course will require an extra evening for more than one week during the year.
A short entry test is required to make sure you are at the right level for this course.
If English is not your first language, ESOL Level 5 is an entry requirement for this course.

An interview is required for this course, along with a short test to determine this is the right level for you.
