Level 2 and 3 Combined Award in Hybrid Electric Vehicle Repair and Replacement

This qualification is for candidates who need to know more about the safety precautions to be taken when working on or near a high voltage hybrid. Therefore, this applies not just to automotive technicians but also, for example, emergency services staff.

  • What the course includes

    This qualification is for technicians who maintain hybrid vehicles and the hybrid system itself. It contains the knowledge and skills required to work safely in and around the vehicle's hybrid system. This course covers the skills taught at Level 2 and 3. 

    On completion of this qualification, technicians will be able to practically demonstrate that they have the knowledge and skills required for repairing vehicles with high voltage hybrid technologies.
