LADIES HAIR CUTTING AN INTRODUCTION

This is an excellent course for students to learn the skills to cut hair using a variety of techniques and creating a range of basic hair cuts.

Kit can be purchased from Platinum Salon on the night the course commences. Students should supply their own tunic.

  • What this course includes

    This course includes client preparation, safe hygiene procedures, cutting techniques, categories and effects and include the range and maintenance of tools.
    Students will learn how to establish the client’s requirements taking into account influencing factors.
    Students will learn the process of preparing for the hair cut and performing the planned hair cut to achieve the desired end result.

•While there are no formal entry requirements, an interest in the subject is essential

Fees, Finance and Funding

ITA update

Individual Training Account funding has now been closed to new applicants as of 7thDecember 2018. Applicants should be able to apply again from April 2019, subject to Skills Development Scotland making new funds available. What options do I have for paying my course fees?

West Lothian College accept payment in full for all part time courses by Cash, Card, Bank Transfer or Cheque.

 

In response to the unforeseen withdrawal of ITA funding, West Lothian College have put in place an option for students to pay their course fees by instalments. This can be discussed with our Student Advice team at the time of your enrolment, and they will explain all the options and terms and conditions to you.
