INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGY, CRIMINOLOGY AND SOCIAL SCIENCE

This course is for those who want to learn about competing views, perspectives, theories and evidence from Psychology, Criminology and Sociology. You will be introduced to ideas and explanations that give an understanding of why people behave in the way they do and how social institutions influence people in society.

Why choose this course

This course may prepare you for studies at SCQF level 6 and will also give you transferable skills for employment. 

Entry requirements

  • Four National 4 qualifications including English, and Maths or equivalent.
  • Supporting statement
  • Successful interview (either face to face or online)

If English is not your first language, ESOL Level 5 is an entry requirement for this course.

If we invite you for interview, plan to be in college for around two hours
