INTRODUCTION TO MAKE-UP ARTISTRY

This is an excellent course for students to learn how to create bridal and evening make-up looks.

  • What the course includes

    This course will allow students to learn:

    • How to consult with a client, identify contra-indications, prepare and apply bridal, day and evening make–up and the use of corrective make-up
    • Skills and knowledge in researching, planning and producing specific make-up looks to include young and mature day make-up using various techniques
    • How to prepare and perform a facial skin cleanse, tone and moisturise prior to applying the make-up

Entry requirements

  • No formal entry requirements, but an interest in the subject is essential
  • If English is not your first language you will need to provide evidence that you have achieved ESOL National 5 (or equivalent)
  • You will need to provide your own tunic, but this can be any style or colour
  • Kit purchase is required
