HNC CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT YEAR 1 (DAY RELEASE)

This course is for prospective students, keen on a professional role in the construction industry, or for experienced construction operatives, who are looking to up-skill and enhance their promotion prospects.

The course focuses on the key knowledge required by a construction technician, site supervisor/agent/manager, to provide a strong grounding in construction methods, procedures, organisation and contractual arrangements.

Each of the construction lecturers have extensive, relevant experience in the fields of civil engineering, architectural design and house building.

Flexible Delivery

This course is available on a number of delivery modes:

Full Time ( 3 days)

Day release (1 day for two years)

Evening (two evenings per week, for two years)

Entry requirements

  • NC in a related discipline or
  • Minimum one Higher level pass and relevant passes at Standard Grade or
  • Credit/National 5 in relevant subjects, including science/technology or
  • SVQ in construction or related discipline or
  • Foundation Apprenticeship in a related subject or
  • Craft qualification combined with appropriate further study before/along with HNC programme

We consider relevant industrial experience/other qualifications on an individual basis.

If English is not your first language, ESOL Level 5 is an entry requirement for this course.
