GEL NAIL TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATION

This is an excellent course to gain the skills required to become a nail technician.

Day of week: Tuesday
Time: 6pm–9pm
Duration: 24 weeks
Cost: £250 (ITA funding may be available) + £265 for kit (£20 non-refundable deposit for kit to be paid at the salon once you have applied and paid for the course)

  • What the course includes

    Students will learn:

    • How to prepare for and perform a manicure safely and effectively
    • How to apply gel extensions safely and effectively

Entry requirements

  • No formal entry requirements, but an interest in the subject is essential 
  • If English is not your first language you will need to provide evidence that you have achieved ESOL National 5 (or equivalent) 
  • You will need to provide your own tunic, but this can be any style or colour
  • Kit purchase is required 
  • Please note nail extensions should not be worn for the duration of this course

    • Progression to a beauty course at West Lothian College
