This course is for people who have a basic understanding of the English language or have completed ESOL study at level 2. It aims to improve language skills including reading, writing, listening and speaking. You may have the chance to study another subject of your choice and understand a bit more about Scotland. 

  • What the course includes

    The course includes the National 3 ESOL award and a range of units to support your study and your understanding of the language for use at home and work. This course prepares you for further ESOL study.

Expected to be working at level 2 or above (we will assess this)

Interview arrangements

We will invite you to meet in college or online to assess your level of English language. This takes around two hours. If you are at the required level, we will offer an individual interview.
