This course is for people who are fairly fluent in English and aims to improve language skills including reading, writing, listening and speaking.

What the course includes
The course includes ESOL National 4, ESOL National 5, Living in Scotland, ICT units and Core Skills unit. You will have the opportunity to engage with college staff and other partners to discuss your next steps. Students will be supported to use their communication skills in a variety of contexts.
Why choose this course
The course prepares you for further study and for qualifications at levels 4 and 5. You need to have National 5 ESOL or equivalent for all NQ/NC, HNC and HND study. You will have the opportunity to sit the ESOL National 5 exam.

Entry requirements
Expected to be working at level 3 or above (we will assess this)
Progressing students should have achieved ESOL 3
If you are at beginner level there are other options we can offer you, for example you can access free study with West Lothian Council.
