This course is suitable for those undertaking a programme of study in Engineering or for individuals wishing to get to grips build the fundamental knowledge with 2D and 3D CAD and design. The software used is Autodesk CAD and Inventor. Modeling will be completed using AutoCAD and 3D modelling will be completed using inventor.

This course includes a basic revision of drawing skills, 2D drawings and 3D shapes.
This course will allow you to produce impressive and professional looking drawings for reports, designs or presentations or simply as a way of getting across to people, such as builders, exactly what you want, obtaining CAD skills will always be both worthwhile and rewarding. You will also learn how to produce detailed engineering drawings that can be used for manufacturing
There are no formal qualifications required, however, computer application skills would be advised, and also technical knowledge.
