    What the course includes

    The Diploma in Digital Marketing at SCQF level 6 requires the learner to achieve a minimum of 65 credits: 27 credits from the six Mandatory Units plus a minimum of 38 credits from the optional units.

    You will cover units such as:

    • Understanding the business environment
    • Understand legal, regulatory and ethical requirements in sales or marketing
    • Using collaborative technologies
    • Principles of marketing and evaluation
    • Develop own professionalism
    • Digital marketing metrics and analytics

This is a distance learning course carried out using digital platforms, minimising any time learners would need to be away from their work and allows candidates to generate evidence based on the actual work they are carrying out.

You will be assigned a highly experienced assessor to work with you on an individual basis. This assessor will support you build a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your knowledge and competence in this sector.

Entry requirements

No prior qualifications are required to undertake this qualification, although experience or knowledge of traditional marketing methods would be an advantage. Learners must also be in a suitable position to allow them to generate evidence from the workplace to successfully complete the diploma.

If English is not your first language, ESOL Level 5 is an entry requirement for this course.
