    What the course includes

One teaching session will be spent in the classroom studying subjects to support the practical activity on Thursday and Friday morning. Students work with others in professional cookery kitchens and will develop their skills as a group. A lecturer and care assistant will plan each session with the students and will encourage participation in all aspects of the café including discussions about sustainability, food costs and health. Students celebrate calendar events and encourage their customers to engage with the topics they have been studying.
