This assisted programmes course supports students with additional support needs to learn art and craft skills, and how to express themselves creatively.

Day of week: Wednesday or Thursday*
Time: 1pm-4pm
Duration: 35 weeks

*you will be asked which day you prefer at interview. This will then be confirmed if/when you are accepted on the course

    • Silk painting
    • Fabric craft
    • Printmaking
    • Mixed Media
    • Drawing
    • Painting

Why choose this course

This course will help students explore and develop their creative skills in a variety of art and craft subject areas. Students may choose to work on their own projects supported by the class lecturer or work with the group in a particular subject area. The group may choose to explore a shared interest and have the opportunity to work towards achieving an SQA qualification.

The class offers a relaxed but productive learning experience and may be supported by a Care Assistant.

  • You can only apply for two part-time assisted programmes courses at any time
  • If you have taken this course before, you will be placed on a waiting list
