Assisted Programmes
Assisted programmes courses support students with additional support needs to reach their goals; whether this is preparation for volunteering, employment or further study. For school leavers, assisted programmes courses can provide the next step from school to becoming more independent, through a less formal environment.
Our assisted programmes courses are developed on an individual basis, with a focus on allowing you to develop key life skills such as, managing social situations, health and wellbeing, managing money and living independently.
Students will work with their own group and have the opportunity to engage across college with other students both socially and on specific projects.
Previous assisted programmes students have enjoyed the opportunity to try out different subjects with taster experiences in other faculties.
Assisted programmes students may have the opportunity to take on volunteer work or work experience during their course.
