Steven Anderson NQ Access to Social Sciences (SWAP)
Steven Anderson enrolled on the Access to Social Sciences (SWAP) course at West Lothian College after becoming unchallenged in his previous role.
Steven explained: “This was the course that interested me the most. It is a combination of different subjects that all appealed to me. My course covers sociology, philosophy, criminology, psychology and Scottish history. The highlight so far has been learning about different types of arguments and fallacies in philosophy."
Steven has become immersed in student life, playing a pivotal role in the launch of the West Lothian College's debating team and he has recently returned from a five-day educational trip to Italy as part of the Erasmus programme.
When asked what advice he would give to prospective students, Steven replied:
“Check and compare all the options and if you decide that West Lothian College offers the most suitable course for you, then definitely go for it. The tutors, support, and campus are all great.”
