Nicole James Preparation for Childcare Level 4

She is now working towards fulfilling a lifetime ambition of finding a career as support worker for children with assisted learning requirements:

“I have assisted learning needs myself but I have always wanted to be able to help others and make a difference in their lives. I would like to be a pupil support worker in a school for those who need extra support because I was given a lot of support and it has helped me.”

19 year old Nicole is finding the course to be everything she had hoped for:

“I’m really enjoying the course. The lecturers are really good, patient and understanding and the work goes at a good pace so it is easy to keep on top of things. I’m really enjoying being shown new things and learning things that I never thought would be possible. It’s a little scary at first but once you get to know where you are and who is in your class it’s a lot of fun.”
