Michelle Low HNC Social Services

 Michelle took some time out of her busy schedule to speak about her time as a student. 

“I had been working as a mental health support assistant before deciding to go to college to further my career and now I am the current Student Association President which has been a highlight of my time here along with graduating as a mature student.  

I realised that it is never too late to return to education, My experience has been amazing as not only have I gained an HNC I have been given the opportunity to take a years sabbatical to represent the students and this experience has taught me even more skills which I can utilise as my career progresses.” 

When asked what words she would offer to anyone who is thinking about a return to education Michelle offered these words of advice:

“Just go for it! It is an experience you will not regret. I can now return to a career in mental health at a higher level. It's never too late and anything is achievable.”
