Parents Information Evening – Thursday 9th November

Would you like to find out more about the various College opportunities available to your young person while still at school? Come along to our Parents Information Evening on Thursday the 9th of November from 6-8pm.

There is no need to register, and you can attend with or without your young person!

The event will commence with a short presentation outlining the opportunities on offer. Following this, you will have the opportunity to speak individually to the teaching teams for the full range of subject areas, allowing you to find out more detailed information and ask any questions you may have.

Refreshments will be provided and there will be tours of the campus throughout the evening, should you wish to see the excellent facilities here at the College.

The evening will focus on our College School Partnership courses, which provide an opportunity for learners to study within a college setting while still at school. Our courses are studied alongside school subjects. To find out more information on our schools courses, click here

We run courses in a variety of subject areas including: Engineering, Computing, Childcare,  Hair & Beauty, Hospitality, Motor Vehicle and Creative Industries. Some of our schools courses can be studied from 3rd year of school. 

Within our offering we provide a range of Foundation Apprenticeship courses which are studied over a two year period in 5th and 6th year of school. Foundation Apprenticeships are available in the following subject areas:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Engineering
  • IT: Hardware & System Support
  • IT: Software Development
  • Social Services (Children & Young People)
  • Social Services & Healthcare
  • Scientific Technologies
  • Accountancy
  • Food & Drink Operations
