Support for Learning
Lorna Jenkins, Access and Support Service Leader
The Access and Support Service Leader, Lorna Jenkins, can talk to you about any additional support you may need to help you with your studies. We can help you if you have a specific learning difficulty (like dyslexia or dyspraxia), a disability, sensory impairment or any other additional support need. We will arrange to meet you and carry out a needs assessment and create a Personal Learning and Support Plan. This plan is designed to identify the support you need and detail what we will do to help you.
Workshops are organised to help with the following:
study skills
essay and report writing
computing skills
maths / numeracy
communications
If you would like to discuss any of the above issues, or would like to discuss any other aspect of support, ask at Spectrum in the Street Building, or phone 01506 418181, and ask for Lorna.
