The Student Support Officer (SSO), Helen Wilson, is here to help you with any difficulties you might have with your attendance. If you are having problems attending College, she will look at the reasons behind your absence, and identify possible support which can be put in place to try and resolve these.

Students are encouraged to see the SSO before attendance issues reach an unacceptable level. She would also like to meet with you if you anticipate any issues which MAY affect your progress.

The SSO will work with you on a one-to-one basis and can liaise with other service providers to give you the most appropriate form of support.

Feel free to contact the SSO to discuss any matter relating to attendance. You can speak to Helen directly on 01506 427934, or drop into Spectrum, which is located on the first floor of the Street Building. Just ask at the Spectrum Reception desk.
